Canyoning combines hiking, swimming, sliding, and rappelling. Depending on your fitness and skill level it can range from a family-friendly escape to an adrenaline junkie’s dream.<\/p>\n

Canyoning Bovec<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The capital of the Slovenian water sports, Bovec is blessed with incredible natural surroundings. Nestled between the Julian Alps that offer an amazing backdrop, it’s just a stone’s throw away from the crystal clear So\u010da river. It’s without a doubt a must-visit destination.<\/p>\n

Canyoning is one of our most popular activities that attracts explorers from around the globe. It takes you through the steep ravines and canyons of the So\u010da River, uncovers secret pools and gorges, and reveals breathtaking waterfalls. It leads you into the very heart of untouched nature and makes you feel truly alive.<\/p>\n

The most common concern we get is who Canyoning Bovec is suitable for.<\/p>\n

We are firm believers that everyone should get to participate in this exciting experience. That’s why we put together programs that cater to different fitness and skill sets. That way, you can choose one after your own heart.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Su\u0161ec<\/a><\/strong>: this easily accessible canyon is suitable for all skill levels<\/strong>, and is our most popular option for beginners<\/strong> and families <\/strong>(children ages 10 and up.)<\/p>\n

It combines 30 minutes of hiking, followed by approx. 2 hours of jumping, sliding, swimming, and enjoying So\u010da’s refreshing current.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Fratarica<\/strong><\/a>: carved into the stone wall of the Julian Alps, this canyon is a bit more challenging and caters to adventurers who are <\/span>generally fitter<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>(ages 16 and up) and enjoy heights<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A 30-minute hike is followed by a 2.5-hour steep descent that requires the use of ropes and combines 8 m high jumps and 49 m high rappels. Enjoy the magnificence of nature in this thrilling adventure.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Predelica<\/a><\/strong>: one of the longest gorges in Bovec offers an even more challenging descent, so it can only be tamed by people who are <\/span>generally <\/span><\/span>more<\/span> physically <\/span>active and in <\/span>good shape<\/span><\/span><\/strong>. Having some level of <\/span><\/span>experience <\/span>in<\/span> canyoning or abseiling<\/span> is a plus (but not mandatory).<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The length and difficulty of the adventure can be adjusted to your needs. But high jumps and various rope descents are guaranteed. Dare to step further!<\/p>\n

Globo\u0161ki potok<\/a><\/strong>: a canyoning expedition to satisfy the needs of seasoned professionals<\/strong> who are at home hanging on the rope, and descending from dizzying heights.<\/p>\n

The whole adventure lasts for about 6 hours, and combines an hour-long hike with 3-4 hours of descends, the highest of which is 40 m deep. Take part in the most awe-inspiring canyoning Bovec has to offer!<\/p>\n
