Canyoning Fratarica – fairytale canyoning Bovec
Do you know the sensation when you seem invincible? It has a name. Her name is Fratarica.
Listen to the sound of her waterfalls hitting rocks, touch her cold flow, smell the freshness of her surroundings, take a look at her magnificence and taste the sweetness of her crystal current. You can find Fratarica about 12 km from Bovec, a 15 min drive in the direction of Log pod Mangartom. Fratarica requires more courage and physical fitness than Sušec canyon since it is cut into one of the demanding rock faces in the Julian Alps – Loška Stena.
The descent is steep and demanding. The use of ropes is mandatory on three waterfalls. Along the remaining portions of the route, the use of a rope is recommended. Including slightly more than a half an hour ascent to the entrance point and the 2,5h descent in the canyon, your unforgettable adventure will require about 4 hours in total.

How difficult is canyoning Fratarica?
If you already have some experience in canyoning, or you hike, climb (optional), you are generally in good physical condition, join us in the Fratarica canyon.
Fratarica is the next level compared to Sušec canyon, demanding more use of rope technic, which is always under the guides control. The jumps and rappels are higher compared to Sušec canyon.
The highest jump in Fratarica is 8 m high, the highest rappel is 49 m high.
