How difficult is Zip line Bovec?
All of our trips are guided, which means a highly qualified, licensed guide guides you on your adventure, gives directions and safety instructions. Zip line is considered to be one of the easiest activities on the menu. The guides take time not just for the safety instructions but to practice on a polygon before flying over the 10 main wires. Although it’s considered an easy activity, it’s not suitable for guests who are afraid of heights. In 250 m altitude difference you will descent on wires up to 200m high above Učja river, so Zip line is not suitable for the fainthearted. In between the lines, there are short hikes, but not demanding. There are well-maintained mountain trails, but it’s recommended to have proper hiking footwear.
Minimum participants and group dynamics
- Bigger groups (descending on the wires is faster, more guides are present for safety).
If you are alone, don’t worry, we will join you in a group. Joining a trip as a couple – it’s more likely you will join a team of Zip line adventurers. A family or a group of friends? No problem. If you are in doubt or worried, how would you fit in, contact us without hesitation and we will check the availability. Individually custom themed team buildings can also be organised based on request.
What about our youngest?
Zip line Slovenia is also suitable for younger kids. Age limit is not an issue, but there is a height limit we have to respect due to safety reasons. All children who are 120 cm and above tall, can attend the Zip line tours.
Zip Line Slovenia- Program
The meeting point for Zip line is at our Sport Mix agency office in Bovec. There you will be escorted to our partner agency, who is performing the activity or a pickup will be arranged. There you will sign a waiver form to declare you are healthy and will follow the guide’s instructions. You will receive your equipment. After collecting all the gear, you will be transported to the starting point of your adventure about 9 kilometres away, which means an approximately 10-minute drive.
The guide will instruct you in the basics of ziplining, then you will test your knowledge on our 20-meter long training cable before you set off on your adventure. During the descents on the lines, you will be able to stretch your legs while walking on shorter sections of mountain trails.
After finishing your descent back in the Žaga village, you will be transferred back to the starting location in Bovec. There you will be able to purchase photos of your adventure (optionally) and we will say farewell till our next gathering.
