How difficult is Flatwater Soca river kayaking?
Flatwater kayaking is considered an easy activity. We recommend it to guests who are discovering the world of kayaking and want a relaxing and serene kayaking adventure.
Because the water is still, starting in an artificial lake and continuing on the Idrijca confluence, it’s suitable for families with younger kids, that have to wait a few more years for a white water guided kayak descent on Soca river. A flatwater kayak trip is recommended also to guests who are nervous or feel anxious about moving water. On still water, there are no forces influencing the kayak. It’s suitable for guests who are not advised to join a kayak descent on white water for any other reason.
Guided kayak trip on flat water is a flexible sport when it comes to timing and distance. It is individually customised based on the group’s abilities.
What about our youngest?
- Suitable also for younger children,
- approximate minimum age limit is set to 6, but it depends on how comfortable the kids are in water and how active they usually are.
