The Soča Valley is an emerald paradise, full of hidden stories, mystical locations, and historical landmarks.
If you would like to explore as many breathtaking places of the Soča Valley as possible during your stay in the Upper Soča region, a mountain e-bike tour is one of the best ways to discover the area.
Faster, farther, and easier exploration of the secrets of the Soča Valley!
Whether you are an experienced cyclist or a recreational nature explorer, discovering the Soča Valley by e-bike allows you to reach scenic viewpoints, visit hidden spots, and experience the valley in an active way without excessive effort.
On our guided e-bike tours in Bovec, local guides take you to some of the most beautiful natural attractions of the Soča Valley. Some of the places we visit are known mainly to locals and can be difficult to find without local knowledge.
The advantage of an e-bike is that you can visit several different locations in a shorter time, enjoy spectacular views, and explore the Soča Valley in a comfortable and active way.
Guided E-Bike Tours Bovec – Explore the Soča Valley
Discover Bovec and the Soča Valley on a guided mountain e-bike tour. Electric bikes make it easy to tackle climbs and cover longer distances with less effort, allowing you to visit several scenic viewpoints and natural attractions in a single trip.
Our e-bike tour takes you through some of the most beautiful parts of Bovec and its surroundings. The tour begins at our agency in the center of Bovec, from where we cycle towards one of the highest waterfalls in Slovenia – the impressive Boka Waterfall, which drops 106 meters.
Near the village of Log Čezsoški, we cross a bridge over the Soča River and continue along the left bank of the river towards the Trenta Valley. Part of the route follows well-maintained gravel roads that lead us into the picturesque Lepena Valley.
Along the way, we will also cross several wooden suspension bridges offering unique views of the emerald-green Soča River. The cycling adventure continues in the direction of Svinjak, also known as the “Bovec Matterhorn”, before we return to Bovec.
The length and pace of the tour are adjusted by the guide according to the experience level and dynamics of the group.
How demanding is the guided e-bike tour?
Our experienced local guides adjust each tour according to the abilities, preferences, and fitness level of the group.
With an e-bike, you can choose the level of electric assistance yourself, making the tour suitable for most recreational cyclists. If necessary, we can adjust:
the length of the tour
the duration of the trip
the riding pace
Before the tour begins, we prepare a customized route together to ensure that the experience is enjoyable for everyone.
Group size
Minimum number of guests: 2
Maximum number of guests per guide: 6
If you are traveling alone, we can often place you in a smaller group.
If you book as a couple or in a small group, there is a good chance you will join a small group of fellow cycling enthusiasts.
Families or larger groups of friends also often have the option of booking a private tour with a guide.
Program of the Guided E-Bike Tour
We meet at the SportMix office in the center of Bovec, where you will meet our team and your guide.
At the office, you will sign a liability waiver, after which the guide will introduce:
the equipment
the course of the tour
safety instructions
Together we will review the main points of the route on the map before heading out on our cycling adventure.
At the end of the tour, we return to our office in Bovec, where we finalize any remaining formalities.
What about our youngest guests?
The smallest adult e-bike size available is XS, and we also offer 24-inch e-bikes, which are suitable for younger riders.
We recommend that children already have some experience riding an e-bike, as these bikes are heavier and faster than regular bicycles.
If younger children join the tour, we organize a family-friendly tour, adjusting the pace to the youngest participants.
Restrictions
The following participants cannot join the e-bike tour:
pregnant women
people with back problems or other physical injuries
people with limited mobility
persons under the influence of alcohol or psychoactive substances
