Following the excitement of Fratarica and Predelica, Rio Macile also known as Rio Brussine awaits those ready for the next challenge. Rio Macile as the locals call it, is an aquatic hidden gem boasting 13 cascading waterfalls, daring jumps, and thrilling natural water slides that promise an unforgettable experience for the well practiced canyoners.
Canyoning in Rio Macile is an adventure crafted for the brave. Your journey begins with a scenic one-hour drive to the canyon’s entrance, followed by a 40 minute hike to the starting point. Once inside, you’ll spend around 2 hours immersed in the canyon’s dynamic environment, testing your skills, among other with a 9-meter jump, 8-meter slide, and a towering 60-meter waterfall. A quick 15 minute exit walk completes this action-packed expedition, making for a total duration of 5 to 5.5 hours.

How difficult is Rio Macile?
Due to its technical descents and challenging obstacles, Rio Macile is best suited for experienced canyoners in good physical condition. Rio Macile is considered to be one of the most difficult canyons that we offer. It’s not suitable for beginners or children. You can join us in Rio Macile only if you have previous experience with canyons of similar difficulty.
